Being the daughter of an oilman is much like being an 'army brat'. You move. A lot. While some grow to dread that next relocation, Lesley grew to enjoy it – instilling a lifelong love of travel and adventure she now shares with her husband and 3 active kids. The biggest takeaway from all those childhood moves? It's all about preparation. (Well, that and the fact that getting to redecorate your room every couple years can be a lot of fun!)
After graduating with a degree in Genetics (true story!) Lesley's story took a twist, immersing her in a professional Customer Service career where she thrived. Pressing pause to begin and manage a family saw a few moves as the household expanded. It was during this time, a somewhat disappointing home buying experience left Lesley feeling like just another number, with a pile of questions after the fact. “There's got to be a better way” was one of those questions, and one for which she felt she had an answer. Lesley took the leap and obtained her Realtor license with a goal to pair her Customer Service background with an industry that can often put far too great a focus on the transaction and hard numbers. Don't get us wrong, with Lesley, the numbers are taken care of. So is everything else. Lesley works hard to be a step ahead of your next question, arming you with the information you need to make each decision, so you're never left scrambling for an answer on short notice. For Lesley, her role really is all about reducing stress and improving your overall home-buying experience. Or as the YYC Group puts it “Redefining Real Estate”.
